Radio content and syndication company Blue Revolution has announced it is partnering with Mark Goodier (ex BBC Radio 1 Top 40, BBC World Service and Top Of The Pops) to launch a brand-new weekly syndicated programme for international markets called Hits & Headlines.

 

Festive Syndicated Radio Shows For 2012

Blue Revolution is getting into the festive spirit with the announcement of a range of one-off specials for stations to air across the Christmas & New Year period.


CEO Paul Hollins explained, "Not only do these year-end specials allow PDs to give their presenters time off to spend with their loved ones, they’re also a great way for stations to drive additional local sponsorship revenue at the busiest time of year."

’99 From The Noughties’ was a one-off special hosted by former Radio 1 DJ Emma B. The show focussed on the music, movies and memorable moments from 2000 through to 2009.

 

Totally 80s Reflects The News Of Michael Jackson's Death

The show was re-versioned to allow stations to reflect the news of the passing of the biggest star of the 1980s.

 

Stations throughout the world broadcast the show from Friday evening onwards and the show's producers and presenter Gary King were up until 4am ensuring that the multi-award winning show reflected this sad turn of events.

'Christmas Day With Santa' was a 2-hour programme broadcast by over 40 radio stations at Christmastime 2008. The show raised money for the 'Make A Wish A Foundation' by asking broadcast stations to donate a show fee to the charity and in exchange they would receive the show
free.
